We’re thrilled to announce that Fred “The Hammer” Williamson will be joining us at HorrorConUK 2026, taking place 6th–7th June at Magna, Sheffield!
A true powerhouse of 1970s cinema, Fred smashed his way from the NFL straight into Hollywood, making his debut in Robert Altman’s M*A*S*H before becoming a leading force in classics like Black Caesar, Hell Up in Harlem, Three the Hard Way and Hammer. From there he exploded onto the international cult scene with fan favourites such as The Inglorious Bastards and Warriors of the Wasteland.
Horror fans, of course, know him best as the cigar-chomping vampire slayer Frost in From Dusk Till Dawn, one of the coolest characters ever to take on the undead! He later appeared in Starsky & Hutch, the gritty action hit VFW, and even popped up as himself in the documentary King Cohen: The Wild World of Filmmaker Larry Cohen.
