We’re excited to welcome Ian Ogilvy to HorrorConUK 2026, taking place 6 and 7 June at Magna, Sheffield!
Ian has a career spanning decades of cult and classic cinema and shared the screen with many of the legends that defined the golden age. From The Sorcerers (1967) with Boris Karloff, The She Beast (1966) alongside Barbara Steele, to the chilling Witchfinder General (1968) with Vincent Price. Add in the gloriously gothic And Now the Screaming Starts (1973), Death Becomes Her (1992), and, more recently, We Still Kill the Old Way (2014), and Ian’s contribution to British genre cinema is undeniable. Ian has worked with many of the true titans of classic horror, including David Warner, Donald Pleasence, and Peter Cushing, when he starred in the Amicus anthology classic From Beyond the Grave 🪦(1974).
Many of you will, of course, remember him as Simon Templar in The Return of the Saint 😇 or as Drusus in the highly acclaimed 1976 TV series I Claudius.
What a treat to have him join the HorrorConUK line-up this June. We cannot wait for you to meet him!
