We are honoured to announce that Charles Cyphers will be making a rare UK appearance at HorrorConUK on the 21st & 22nd May 2022!! He his well known to horror fans the world over for his work with John Carpenter, he first worked with Carpenter in the 1976 action thriller Assault on Precinct 13, in which he played Starker. In 1978 he played the iconic role of Sheriff Leigh Bracket in Halloween. In the same year he appeared in what became known as the “lost Carpenter film” TV movie Someone’s Watching Me. In 1980 Cyphers worked with Carpenter again playing Dan O’Bannon in The Fog, which also starred Cyphers fellow Halloween cast member Jamie Lee Curtis, his Assault on Precinct 13 co-star Darwin Joston, and Nancy Loomis Kyes who worked with Cyphers in both Assault on Precinct 13 and Halloween. He then played the Secretary of State in Carpenter’s 1981 film Escape from New York. In the same year he reprised the role of Sheriff Brackett for Halloween II.
Cyphers has appeared in many popular TV series including; Charlie’s Angels, Wonder Woman. Starsky & Hutch, Sliders, Seinfeld, ER, JAG & Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
In 2021 he returned to his role of Sheriff Leigh Brackett in Halloween Kills.
