Graham Humphreys is a British illustrator and graphic designer, celebrated for his iconic contributions to the horror genre. One of the few contemporary artists who still works with traditional gouache paint on paper. Humphreys first rose to prominence in the 1980s, gaining widespread recognition for his striking film posters and artwork for cult horror classics such as The Evil Dead (1981), A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), and Return of the Living Dead (1985). His distinctive style masterfully blends surrealism, grotesque imagery, and vibrant colors, perfectly capturing the essence of horror and suspense.
Over the years, his work has graced a wide array of promotional materials, from DVD covers and posters to book covers, record sleeves, and private commissions, earning him a dedicated following among fans of the genre.
