It’s that time again for another guest announcement and man we are really excited.  This is someone we have wanted to bring to HorrorConUK for a very long time, and is in one of the greatest horror films of all time – not just our opinion – it is FACT!!!  So, if you love folk horror, get ready to get your pagan on!

We are delighted to announce that the iconic actor Britt Ekland (OMG!!) will be joining us at HorrorConUK on the 11^th & 12^th May 2024!

Britt has appeared in numerous films throughout the 1960s and 1970s, including the British crime film Get Carter with Michael Caine (1971), which established her as a sex symbol. Her most iconic horror role came in the classic 1973 horror film The Wicker Man, with Edward Woodward, Christopher Lee & Ingrid Pitt in which she played a Pagan villager and ultimately failed seductress Willow.  She also played Lucy, the friend and companion of an American heiress; in the fantastic Portmanteau film Asylum (1972) alongside Charlotte Rampling. In 1974 she worked with Christopher Lee again as Bond girl Mary Goodnight in The Man with the Golden Gun (1974).

All Q+A’s, short film screenings and the After Show party on Saturday night (TBA) are free to attend (with your HCUK wristband)!  And sometimes if we’re very good, and say our prayers at night, the guests turn up to party with us too!
